I know a little about sequencing, but am essentially a beginner (with an electrical eng background, not biochemistry), so yeah I'd love to hear more detail about the mechanics of your work.

Came here to give you an up-vote for ZeroMQ...I'm a big fan. Not necessarily ZeroMQ vs the others, per se. I just appreciate the brilliant concept of sockets on steroids and communications patterns being defined just like other design patterns are. Sorry to see all the drama associated with that project's history though. I think our industry could make better use of silicon resources if more design patterns were built on top of communications patterns like ZeroMQ's ilk provide. Anyway, back to the program ...
