I’m in South Africa. The law here prohibits practicing law without being an admitted attorney/advocate, but it doesn’t criminalize it. So as long as I don’t commit fraud, i won’t be committing a crime.
I would also make it clear that I’m not a lawyer and that I’m not giving legal advice. (I have been told by a lawyer that this would be fine.)

Is it possible/feasible for a law student to do freelance work drafting contracts, setting up bills of costs or doing other law-related things?
I’ve checked the law on practicing without a license where I live and I shouldn’t run into any trouble in that regard. Just wondering if there is anyone who’d be willing to hire a student.
