their mistake was not looking into the validity of the report before responding with overwhelming force. perhaps by checking to see who lived at the residence they were invading and asking why a 20 something girl would kidnap 4 people and hold them hostage...

i would still say that an anonymous report is not enough probable cause to break in and secure a private residence with a swat team. there is a reason why we go by innocent until proven guilty. you are right sometimes a gunwomen will end up killing innocent people because of this view, but the fear of violence is not enough to get me to change my opinion
