Did you count the pretzels, and what do you think about Steam when it comes to the developer's side of things? Also, any plans for Mac compatibility?

Any advice to someone who wants to get into making games? I'm getting my head around the 'start by doing' part, what should I look at as my next step? (The advice from successful indies seems to be 'wait for a break' which seems like advice from lottery winners being 'play the lottery'.)
