He does have some pretty good points. I think calling diamonds worthless isn't correct. They are worth whatever an individual thinks they are worth. They aren't really useless either. Diamond tipped tools are very useful. Now, a diamond on a ring ment as decoration is pretty useless, but in the same way that a painting is useless. It's all a personal opinion and I think it's wrong to tell people their taste in things is wrong.
