Ever seen the video of the goalie who got caught in the throat?

If not, it's actually pretty horrifying, and I don't recommend it. Long story short, the goalie lived, but only because the team's medic was a vietnam vet and knew to pinch the artery closed to stop him from bleeding out. This wasn't beer league hockey, either; it was a televised game between the Buffalo Sabres and St. Louis Blues.

They're pretty sharp. There's some ugly lacerations out there from the skates. I would not like to know what one hitting a person with force would feel like.

Asian cuisine is amazing. I can honestly say that part of the reason my meat consumption has dropped is due to my recent love of Indian food. The spices are amazing! My family has always been a meat and potatoes kind of family, so it is great to discover so many more ways vegtables can be prepared than steamed or just covered in butter. That being said, I'll never like chickpeas, though- I've come to terms that it's not their taste I hate, it's their texture.
